Reminders (specific to St. Francis de Sales):

• Eucharistic Ministers are asked to sit forward in the church in the 1^st or 2^nd pews to expedite coming forward to the altar at the appropriate time.
• It is important to arrive 15 minutes before Mass begins to be there early enough to let Father know you are the Eucharistic Minister for that Mass as well as to allow time for checking the contents of the Ciborium prior to Mass. In addition, Father may have some last-minute additional changes he may want to discuss with you. (In the event you are at a Mass where no Eucharistic Minister is visible or at the appropriate time the Eucharistic Minister does not come forward… please come forward to assist Father.) It is the usher’s duties to fill the cruets and make sure there are hosts on the paten. Ems should check to see if the former is done, if not, take care of the matter. Two purificators are needed. Check to see if they are already on the altar, if not that is where they should be placed.
• Avoid distractions, e.g. distracting apparel, noisy shoes, avoidance of uses of perfumes, colognes etc.
