The Catholic Church has declared the first Sunday after Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday. The Church has added a plenary indulgence to it. A plenary indulgence is the complete remission of sin and punishment.
To obtain this indulgence one has to go to confession, receive Holy Communion and recite some prayers for the intention of the Pope. Come join us this Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. for the Divine Mercy service at St. Joseph's Church. There will be the blessing of the Divine Mercy Picture, Divine Mercy Chaplet sung by Fr. Frank and Mass. Confession will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M.
